Storm Seeker – Nautic Metal from Germany
Storm Seeker are hoisting the sails with fresh wind: Since 2024, Sean Graham has taken over as the new vocalist of the Nautic Force. With roots stretching from the rugged Scottish coast to the Rhineland, his life has been shaped by sea shanties, pints and tales of adventure. Meeting the crew in a harbor tavern in Neuss – after heated debates about inland ports and a legendary bar tab – it quickly became clear: he belongs with Storm Seeker.
Founded in 2013, Storm Seeker have conquered the stages of the metal scene with their unmistakable blend of metal, folk-inspired melodies and maritime wanderlust. Their debut EP Pirate Scum (2016) brought the first wave of attention, followed by the albums Beneath in the Cold (2019), Guns Don’t Cry (2021) and Nautic Force (2023), which steered them directly onto major festival stages.
Energetic live shows, multi-layered vocal arrangements, heavy riffs and the use of traditional instruments such as cello, hurdy-gurdy and flutes have earned Storm Seeker a loyal fanbase. In 2025, the crew continues their journey – with a new frontman, new songs and a spirit of adventure stronger than ever.
