The Heart - Monument EP (digital release)

What's flying towards us is a juicy portion of new things. The record, which will be released on 30.03.2018, is more than skilfully blurring the boundaries between the 90s NYC hardcore punk from the album Stay Heart, a considerable amount of pop and a hearty pinch of electro, and forms its very own "monument".

Why all this, you ask yourself? The band explains:

.

With the opener "Monolith" Die Heart shows on the spot where the EP should go. Instrumentally, heavy hardcore punches us in the face, but where we are used to equal shouts, refreshingly melodic vocals with a certain electro touch suddenly sound through, telling us to stand firm "...like a monolith! In the middle section Die Heart surprise with a breakdown, modelled on the South London Dubstep movement.

Lyrically the four have found their home port and deliver first-class motivational music. In the 2nd song "Alles Was Du Wolltest" Sänger Niels shouts with full fervor "Mach, was dir gefällt!" into the microphone and the band comes up with powerful punk beats to the next mosh-pit.

(By the way, a short insider tip: On "Alles Was Du Wolltest" the guys published a music video on 02.03.18)

The last song "Unser Leben" rounds off the concept and throws hardcore and pop vocals, heavy guitars and dance beats, catchy synth melodies and juicy breakdowns into one pot, rummages around in it and then serves up the most delicious crossover song of the last years.
